Easy Crepe Recipe (unsweetened)

Yields 6 crepes • 30 mins prep & cooking time

Happy Sunday! This post (and most likely many more to come) is especially dedicated to Mahal. I had a different recipe in mind for today’s post but I thought I’d publish this one first so he can just come to this blog whenever he wants to make crepes and needs the recipe for it–one big reason why I created this recipe blog. Before he could even say “good morning” to me today, he asked me to make crepe batter first thing because he was craving. Naglilihi.

I like our crepe batter without added sugar since we usually have it with sweet syrups and fruits anyway. This way, we also get to use this recipe for savoury crepe versions as well. For this one, I used:


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk (2% lactose free)



Steps

  1. Combine all of the ingredients together. Mix and whisk well (I don’t have a specific order as to which ingredient to add first. I just mix it all together)
  2. Cook in a non-stick pan under medium heat
    • You know its ready to be flipped (and when it is cooked) when the crepe’s edges start to curl and it doesn’t stick to the pan anymore
  3. Serving: spread with your favourite fruits/fillings. My favourite is banana & nutella! Enjoy! 😀
